Yes. Studio needs to reach our server at least once every 30 days to renew the license.

Right after you pre-order, from the Download page. You get the current beta straight away. Sign in with the email you ordered with and your license is already there.
You pay once for 6 months of Studio, starting the day you buy, and use the beta from day one. Studio updates itself as new versions are released. The license goes to the CS Harness account with your order's email, usually within a minute.
