Download EVCore Studio
One download for Studio and Studio Pro. Sign in with the email you ordered with, and your license is already there.
Download for WindowsWindows may warn you. The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
Install
Run the installer and choose where to put Studio. It installs for your Windows user only, so no administrator password is needed.
Sign in
Open Studio and sign in with the email address from your order. No account yet? Choose Create an account with that email; we email you a 6-digit code to confirm it.
Get to work
Your license is added to that account automatically, usually within a minute of ordering: Studio, or Studio Pro with the EVCore D1. Studio says which one at the top.
If something is not right
Found a bug, or want a feature?
Tell us on the feedback page: sign in with your Studio account, describe it in a few words and add a screenshot if it helps. In Studio, choose Help > Report a problem or request a feature. We email you when we reply.
Studio says my account has no license
Wait a minute after ordering, then choose Check again. The license goes to the account with exactly the email on your order. If you ordered with a different email, email support@csharness.com with your order number and we move it.
I did not get the confirmation code
Check your spam folder for an email from support@csharness.com, then choose Send a new code in Studio. Only the newest code works.
Is this the finished version?
Studio is in beta. Your pre-order gets the current version now, and Studio updates itself as new versions are released. Tell us what to improve at support@csharness.com.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Studio needs the internet to sign in, then checks your license at least once every 30 days.
Where are my customer records kept?
On your computer, with a backup every day. Uninstalling Studio keeps them. Only your account and license are online.
How do updates work?
Studio checks for updates itself and installs them when you restart it, never in the middle of a test.
Using it on another computer
Install Studio there and sign in with the same account. Your records stay on each computer; export them from Work orders to move them.
Studio Pro and the EVCore D1
Studio Pro runs tests on the EVCore D1 over USB. Every D1 comes with three months of Studio Pro on the account you order with.
